The OD side was designed with a compression ring that self seals around the tube. When you screw the top of the purge plug on, the ring is compressed, tightening around the tube and locking it into place, creating a good seal.
On the flip side, the ID side features two heat resistant foam rings to create a double seal. Just push and twist to lock the purge plug in place and you’re good to go.
We’ve made the process even easier with the attachable diffusers! Just move the diffuser to the side you’re purging to maximize your gas coverage.
